SENIOR CLOUD ENGINEER

Location: Changi Business Park

Employment: 12 Months (Renewable contract) with banking industry

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced AWS Cloud Engineers to support a strategic AWS Platform Improvement Program. The successful candidates will provide hands-on technical leadership, drive platform initiatives, and support enterprise-scale cloud operations in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver AWS platform improvement initiatives.

• Provide technical expertise and advisory support for AWS cloud services.

• Support enterprise-scale cloud platform operations, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance.

• Engage with stakeholders across technical and business teams.

• Operate independently to resolve complex cloud platform challenges.

• Help reduce dependency on senior AWS architects by providing day-to-day technical leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms.

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments.

• Good understanding of infrastructure, operations, security, risk, and compliance requirements.

• Proven ability to work independently and manage stakeholder engagements.

• Experience leading cloud platform implementation and operational initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications (Associate, Professional, or Specialty).

• Experience in regulated industries (will be added advantage).

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
