Senior Cloud Engineer - T Cloud Public
Summary
Designs and maintains secure, compliant public cloud infrastructure for enterprise clients, focusing on GCP/AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform automation.
- Technology architect (with T Cloud Public hands-on experience)
- Deep expertise in public cloud architecture
- Strong understanding of:
- VPC networking
- IAM & federation
- Cloud security architecture
- Kubernetes & container platforms
- Logging & observability platforms
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform mandatory)
- CI/CD integration for infrastructure
- Strong Linux and networking knowledge
- Disaster recovery and high availability architecture
- Experience designing C5 / GDPR compliant environments
- Audit-ready documentation practices
- Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in the IT industry or telecommunications; ideally you already have extensive experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other Hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Understanding of cloud engineering methods, applications, and best practices across cloud service providers.
- Experience assessing, customizing, troubleshooting, optimizing, and maintaining current and emerging technologies, platforms, and applications to help ensure greater security and efficiencies.
- Experience with cloud orchestration tools and continuous delivery processes to deploy and manage cloud infrastructure for customers to consume (DevOps)
- Experience with modern tools for collaboration in an agile environment (e.g. GitHub, JIRA, Confluence). Ability to assess technical solutions and find creative approaches to solutions
- Demonstrated proficiency in automating processes with GitHub, Ansible, Terraform, Packer, PowerShell, Python, including use of remote APIs
- Experience working with containers and container orchestration systems and hardening practices.
- Experience implementing, managing, and supporting security products to protect workloads on the platform.
- Minimum B2 German language knowledge - for contacting Customer
- Fluent English
