Senior Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud Service Engineer to design, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure and services supporting business-critical applications. The role focuses on secure cloud operations, application deployment and service reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure and application environments.
• Support cloud migration, configuration, upgrades and ongoing operations.
• Manage cloud networking, including virtual networks, routing, load balancing and security controls.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and performance optimisation.
• Apply cloud security practices, including encryption, access control and threat protection.
• Work with development, infrastructure and security teams to support application delivery.
• Maintain operational procedures and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of relevant cloud infrastructure or cloud engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure or another major cloud platform.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security, monitoring and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack or Prometheus.
• Relevant cloud certifications are advantageous.
• Experience with government IT security standards or regulated environments is an advantage.
