Job Summary Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructures for production and development environments.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) primarily using Terraform, including building reusable modules and enforcing best practices.
- Architect, operate, and optimize Amazon EKS (Kubernetes) platforms for containerized applications.
- Build and maintain secure Amazon Linux and Ubuntu images using HashiCorp Packer.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using GitHub Actions, Argo CD, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and maintain AWS security best practices (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, patching, vulnerability remediation).
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure the health and performance of cloud platforms using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Resolve complex issues related to AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and infrastructure, including on-call participation.
- Develop automation tools and scripts in Python, Go, or Bash to improve operational efficiency.
- Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Amazon Q Developer) to streamline infrastructure development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Security, Platform) to deliver secure and cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, Terraform standards, and operational runbooks.
