Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Shiji Group, a hospitality-tech company serving 91,000+ hotels. Day to day you design and maintain AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure as code (Terraform/Terragrunt), build hosting environments, support developers and CI/CD (GitLab), and keep the platform secure, using tools like Ansible, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch and Python/Golang tooling.
- Design and implement new infrastructure components.
- Provide day-to-day support to developers.
- Create new application hosting environments.
- Maintain existing infrastructure.

- Design cloud infrastructure, including complex solutions using Kubernetes.

- Our application that is written in .NET Core runs on top of Kubernetes cluster deployed in EKS.
- We have very large observability stack that includes collecting logs and metrics and visualizing it in Grafana and Kibana.
- DevOps Team are also responsible for managing GitLab, Jenkins and Nexus.
- We write our internal tool set using Python and Golang.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of commercial experience with AWS and Kubernetes, with a strong understanding of key AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudFront).
- At least 1 year of commercial experience using Terraform.
- Experience in managing and troubleshooting GNU/Linux operating systems.
- Experience with CI/CD processes, particularly using GitLab.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Openness to learning and adopting new technologies and paradigms.
- Ability to investigate, analyze information, and draw sound conclusions.
- Proactive mindset with a strong drive to solve challenges.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- AWS and/or Kubernetes certification.
