Summary
A cloud infrastructure engineer (senior level) at a leading financial institution in Hong Kong designs, implements, and maintains a private cloud platform and PaaS on Tencent Cloud/Alibaba Cloud, automating provisioning and deployments with IaC tools like Ansible and Terraform, CI pipelines, and Kubernetes.
Our client is a leading Financial Institution. Due to business need, they are seeking a high calibre (Senior) Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, Tencent Cloud/Alibaba Cloud
Key Responsibilities
· Work with vendor to design, implement, and maintain private cloud platform and PaaS in alignment with organisational security and compliance requirements.
· Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure seamless integration, scalability, and high availability of cloud services.
· Automate the provisioning and configuration of IaaS and PaaS through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC) tools.
· Automate application deployment using standard pipelines.
· Troubleshoot and resolve cloud related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high system resilience.
Requirements
· 4 years or more of experience in cloud engineering
· Proven experience in deploying and managing workloads on major cloud platforms in hybrid or private cloud environments covering Tencent Cloud/Alibaba Cloud
· Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, S3, Linux, and cloud-native technologies.
· Excellent command of English and Chinese, with fluency in Mandarin.
