As a Senior Cloud-Native Identity Engineer – IAM & Microservices, you will be working for a global financial services provider, leading the transformation of Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities. You will be instrumental in delivering scalable, secure, and resilient identity services within a transformative multi-year program, shaping the future of enterprise security infrastructure.
Your main responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cloud-native identity services and platform components, ensuring high performance and security.
- Build APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations to support enterprise IAM capabilities.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and identity federation solutions, including Human Identity, Agent Identity, and Workload Identity.
- Develop Policy-as-Code integrations and authorization services to streamline security processes.
- Support deployment, troubleshooting, and operational maintenance across development, testing, and production environments.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation protocols, and monitoring tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in peer code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and operational runbooks to support ongoing operations.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience in cloud-native environments.
- Expertise in API development and microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture principles.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Skills in Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with identity standards such as OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, SCIM.
- Solid REST API development and secure coding practices.
- Proven problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset.
- Positive attitude with the ability to operate effectively within complex organizations.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Certifications or experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Additional expertise in automation tools or security frameworks.
Language required for the role:
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
