As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer specializing in Identity and Access Management, you will be working for a globally recognized financial services organization committed to redefining enterprise security and operational resilience. You will play a pivotal role in designing, automating, and operating sophisticated cloud-native IAM infrastructures that empower teams to innovate securely and efficiently. Your main responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain cloud-native platform services supporting enterprise IAM projects.
  • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters and supporting platform components.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent) to enable automated, repeatable deployments.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows for streamlined delivery.
  • Administer cloud networking, connectivity, and platform security measures.
  • Ensure platform observability through logging, monitoring, metrics, and distributed tracing.
  • Automate platform provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks to ensure reliability.
  • Support deployment and operation of identity platform components and supporting services.
  • Manage secrets, certificates, and implement secure service mesh configurations.
  • Enhance platform resilience via backup, disaster recovery, and high availability best practices.
  • Maintain compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards.
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of the platform.
  • Develop operational tools, scripts, and self-service capabilities to facilitate team workflows.
  • Collaborate across Security, Architecture, and Engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
  • Contribute to operational documentation, runbooks, and environment management strategies.
  • Drive continuous platform improvements through automation and best practices.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cloud Platform Engineering, with strong knowledge of GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and platform management.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Expertise in Linux administration, networking, load balancing, and cloud security.
  • Experience with Service Mesh (Istio/Envoy), Secrets Management, PKI, and certificate lifecycle automation.
  • Familiarity with observability tools—logging, monitoring, distributed tracing.
  • Scripting skills for automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, performance management, and capacity planning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a positive, can-do attitude in complex organizational environments.

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Certifications in GCP, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
  • Experience with enterprise security compliance frameworks.
  • Background in large-scale identity and access management projects.

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
