Senior Cloud Platform Engineer – Multi-Cloud / GCP

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain landing zone infrastructure as code using Terraform

  • Implement configuration management and automation with Ansible

  • Create automation scripts using Python and Bash for landing zone provisioning and management

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions

  • Build automated testing frameworks for landing zone components

  • Design complex multi-cloud landing zone networking architectures, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and hybrid connectivity solutions

  • Work with VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, load balancers, and traffic management solutions

  • Implement network security controls and optimize performance across multi-cloud environments

  • Establish and maintain cloud governance frameworks, standards, and best practices

  • Support cloud migration strategies and hybrid cloud implementations

  • Ensure cloud platforms are compliant with security, regulatory, and operational standards

  • Lead P1/P2 incident response activities, including coordination, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions

  • Cooperate closely with application teams, platform teams, security teams, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or similar roles

  • Strong practical experience with Google Cloud Platform

  • Experience with multi-cloud environments, preferably including AWS and/or Azure

  • Proven experience in implementing enterprise-level landing zones

  • Expert-level knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure as code practices

  • Advanced experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation

  • Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions

  • Deep understanding of cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancing, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity

  • Experience working with cloud security controls, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to lead incident response activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams

  • Good communication skills and the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Professional cloud certifications, especially Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack

  • ITIL certification or knowledge of service management frameworks
