Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to support a major cloud transformation and migration programme.

In this role, you'll design, build, and deploy cloud infrastructure and platform services within the AWS New Zealand Region, working across networking, security, connectivity, and cloud platforms. You'll be involved in workload migrations, production cutovers, troubleshooting, automation, and continuous platform improvement while collaborating with architects, delivery teams, and business stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on AWS engineering experience.
• Proven background delivering infrastructure and platform solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience with cloud migrations and platform transformation projects.
• Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise.
• Solid networking knowledge across DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and hybrid connectivity.
• Experience supporting critical production environments and resolving complex incidents.
• Ability to balance project delivery with operational support responsibilities.
