Senior Cloud Security Consultant
Salary: ₱170,000 – ₱200,000 per month

About the role
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Security Consultant to work with clients on the analysis, remediation and reduction of security vulnerabilities across complex cloud environments. This is a hands-on, client-facing consulting role. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with cloud security tooling, scripting and automation, and applying security controls in real-world enterprise environments. The role requires strong technical judgement, the ability to assess risk and impact, and a proactive mindset focused on reducing repeat issues rather than continually reacting to them. While the role is Azure-focused, it requires broader cloud security experience and the ability to work confidently across infrastructure, platform and application-facing services.
Key responsibilities
Work as a consultant supporting client cloud and security initiatives
Analyse and interpret security findings from cloud security and vulnerability management tools (e.g. Wiz, Defender for Cloud, or similar)
Understand the underlying technical issues, risks and potential business impact of identified vulnerabilities
Assess remediation options, considering security risk, operational and application impact, dependencies on vendors or specialist teams, and enterprise change and release constraints
Carry out and support remediation activities, including Azure configuration and security hardening, platform and OS patching, and implementation of compensating controls where full remediation is not possible
Use scripting and automation to support repeatable remediation activities, reduce manual effort, and help prevent recurring vulnerabilities
Apply and align remediation activities with recognised security frameworks (e.g. CIS, NIST, ISO 27001) in enterprise environments
Work with stakeholders across and beyond IT, including infrastructure teams, security teams, application owners and external vendors
Produce clear, professional documentation suitable for client delivery and audit purposes
About you
10+ years' experience in a senior cloud, infrastructure or security engineering / consulting role
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Virtual Machines and PaaS services, Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, firewalls, private endpoints), and Identity and access management (Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, managed identities)
Solid understanding of cloud security vulnerabilities, CVEs and risk-based prioritisation
Experience working with cloud security posture management and vulnerability tooling
Strong understanding of server-side security (Windows Server and/or Linux)
Proven experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar)
Practical experience applying security frameworks such as CIS, NIST or ISO 27001 in enterprise environments
Ability to assess risk and provide pragmatic, defensible recommendations
Comfortable working in a consulting role with delivery expectations and client accountability
