Senior Cloud Security Consultant CNAPP/CSPM/CWPP (Cortex Cloud), $1000-$1250/day

Help organisations build secure cloud environments at scale. We're looking for an experienced Cloud Security Consultant to join our Professional Services team, helping enterprise and government customers design, deploy and operationalise modern cloud security solutions.
This is a highly customer-facing consulting role where you'll work with some of the region's most complex cloud environments, partnering with technical and executive stakeholders to integrate security into cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms and DevSecOps pipelines.

What you'll be doing As a Senior Cloud Security Consultant, you'll lead customers through the full deployment lifecycle, from discovery and architecture through to implementation and operational handover.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading technical workshops to understand customer requirements and define solution scope
- Designing cloud security architectures and producing High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLDs/LLDs)
- Deploying Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud Workload Protection (CWPP) capabilities across AWS, Azure and GCP
- Integrating cloud security into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows
- Working closely with customer engineering and DevOps teams to implement security guardrails and automation
- Creating operational documentation, runbooks and knowledge transfer materials
- Translating existing security policies and configurations from legacy or competing platforms into Palo Alto Networks cloud security solutions
- Collaborating with Project Managers to ensure successful technical delivery and customer outcomes
Technical experience You'll have experience across several of the following:
- Cloud architecture within AWS, Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform
- Kubernetes and container security (EKS, AKS or GKE)
- DevSecOps, CI/CD and GitOps technologies including ArgoCD and/or Flux
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Scripting using Python and/or Bash
- Network security fundamentals including routing, IP networking and IPSEC VPNs
- Security policy migration and cloud security transformation projects
- Cortex Cloud
- Prisma Cloud (CSPM and/or CWPP)
- Wiz
- Lacework
- Aqua Security
- Datadog Cloud Security
- Sysdig
- CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security
- Enjoys working directly with customers and acting as a trusted technical advisor
- Can communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences
- Takes a consultative approach to solving customer problems
- Focuses on delivering outcomes and reducing customer time-to-value
- Is adaptable and comfortable working across multiple customer environments and technologies
