  • Ability to read electrical schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, and mechanical drawings, and use diagnostic and precision measuring equipment.
  • Siemens SINUMERIK controls and PLC fault-finding experience preferred. WFL or comparable mill-turn experience would be a significant advantage.

  • Previous experience leading or mentoring technicians, coordinating contractors, and working directly with machine manufacturers.
  • Technical apprenticeship, relevant qualification, or equivalent practical experience, together with strong machine safety and energy-isolation practices.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Core Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of daily CNC maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting.

  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule based on manufacturer requirements and actual operating conditions.
  • Establish work-order records, maintenance history, and critical spare-parts requirements.
  • Coordinate with production to schedule maintenance and communicate machine status.
  • Work closely with WFL and other equipment suppliers, ensuring technical recommendations are followed through.
  • Help define staffing requirements, interview candidates, and train the maintenance team.
  • Track repeat failures, repair times, overdue maintenance, and equipment availability to demonstrate progress.
