About the Role

• We are seeking a Senior Command Centre & Automation Engineer to support enterprise IT operations, real-time monitoring, incident management, and automation initiatives.
• The role combines IT Service Management, monitoring, incident response, scripting, automation, system integration, and quality assurance.
• You will play a key role in maintaining service availability, resolving high-severity incidents, and identifying opportunities to automate operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

Command Centre Operations

• Monitor enterprise dashboards, IT infrastructure, systems, and operational processes in real time.
• Monitor alerts and identify potential service interruptions or system outages.
• Troubleshoot incidents and initiate appropriate recovery and escalation procedures.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, system availability targets, and KPIs.
• Act as a primary escalation point for high-severity incidents.
• Coordinate with specialized technical teams to resolve critical issues.
• Maintain clear incident records and provide operational updates to relevant stakeholders.

Automation & Scripting

• Identify repetitive and manual operational tasks suitable for automation.
• Design and implement automated solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop, maintain, and test automation scripts using technologies such as:
  • Python
  • Java
  • Shell scripting
• Develop automation protocols and supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities to optimize existing operational workflows.

System Integration

• Configure and support integrations between information sources, controllers, systems, and outputs.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure reliable information flow between systems.
• Support automation solutions across interconnected enterprise environments.

Quality Assurance & Deployment

• Design and execute simulations and automated tests before deployment.
• Validate automation solutions and system functionality.
• Identify, document, and track software and automation defects.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Support deployment activities and ensure solutions meet operational requirements.

Essential Skills

• 8–10 years of relevant IT experience.
• Command Centre / IT Operations experience.
