About the Role

ARIVA Group is seeking an experienced, proactive Senior Commercial Construction Manager to lead our project operations out of the Miami office. This is a dynamic, hands-on role requiring a leader who is equally comfortable managing high-level strategy and diving into the day-to-day execution of commercial builds. The ideal candidate will take absolute ownership of the project lifecycle, driving quality, safety, and profitability from pre-construction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Execution: Direct all phases of commercial construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications, budgets, and aggressive schedules.
  • Procurement & Purchasing: Spearhead all purchasing activities, including subcontracts, material procurement, equipment rentals, and supplier negotiations to secure optimal pricing and favorable terms.
  • Multi-Site Oversight & Travel: Coordinate and oversee operations remotely and on-site, including regular travel to Laredo, TX (approximately one week per month) to monitor job site progress, manage local subcontractors, and resolve site-specific issues.
  • Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Vet, hire, and manage trade partners, general contractors, and vendors; conduct regular performance reviews and enforce stringent quality control standards.
  • Budget & Financial Control: Manage project budgets, approve invoices, oversee change orders, track cost projections, and deliver accurate financial reporting to executive leadership.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety protocols across all active job sites.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and municipal authorities, leading regular progress meetings and maintaining transparent communication channels.
  • Quality Assurance & Safety: Implement rigorous quality assurance programs and champion a proactive safety culture to achieve zero-incident job sites.
