Senior Commercial Finance Broker
You will guide small-business customers through their finance applications, understand their business needs, and match them with suitable finance products and lenders. You will build lending-partner relationships, prospect customers, maintain Salesforce records, monitor trends, and share insights and successes.
Responsibilities
- Contact, engage, and manage small-business customers through the application process
- Build and nurture relationships with commercial lending partners
- Articulate the Funding Options proposition and service
- Prospect customers outbound through the CRM
- Work closely with the Lead Generation team and provide feedback and advice
- Build knowledge of business finance, lenders, and products
- Explain finance options across multiple business-finance product classes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect information in Salesforce
- Monitor and identify trends and enhance customer-profile information in Salesforce
- Keep up to date with industry, market, and competition trends
- Share stories and successes through relevant communication channels
Requirements
- Experience in commercial finance or a customer-facing sales role
- Experience in a 360 sales role or outbound prospecting
- Track record of meeting and exceeding revenue-based targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deliver high-level customer service
- Organisation, analytical ability, and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively
- Ability to establish strong working relationships
