Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior MEP Commissioning Manager to join our Singapore team. The ideal candidate will lead the commissioning process from planning through close-out, ensuring the flawless commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across commercial and hospitality projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and controls engineering.

• Act as the Project Commissioning Manager with strong stakeholder management skills.

• Coach and develop engineers within NV5 and the wider team.

• Develop and conduct training modules for NV5 Academy.

• Setup and use commissioning software platforms.

• Plan commissioning schedules and T&C manpower allocation.

• Lead system walkdowns / inspections and T&C level readiness verifications.

• Lead method statement and checklists development.

• Lead and orchestrate testing execution on site.

• Coach other engineers on technical knowledge, script development and test execution.

• Maintain strong technical fundamentals and continuously improve leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and assist vendors with RCA when required.

Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in direct overall commissioning process from strategy, planning, execution, and close-out.

• Experience in Commercial and Hospitality Industry and particularly MEP and ELV Building Services.

• Knowledge in Electrical, Mechanical, and Controls Systems.

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering.

• Data Centre or Mission Critical MEP Commissioning Experience is preferred, but not compulsory.

• Experience in CxAlloy as a Commissioning tool is preferred, but not compulsory.

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong problem-solving, fault isolation, and root-cause analysis ability.

• Fluency in English.
