Senior Communications Manager
PlayMetrics is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company revolutionizing the way youth sports organizations operate. Our industry-leading platform is trusted by thousands of clubs, leagues, and governing bodies to manage operations, communication, scheduling, and player development, all in one place.
The Role
The Senior Communications Manager is responsible for shaping and delivering PlayMetrics' communications to employees, media, and industry audiences. As PlayMetrics continues to grow, this role will help ensure company communications are clear, consistent, and coordinated across a wide range of audiences. This individual will lead communications for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), organizational changes, and other strategic company initiatives, translating business priorities into clear, consistent messaging that builds trust and strengthens understanding.
This is a highly visible role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and communicator who is equally comfortable developing communications plans, working directly with leadership, and independently producing polished communications.
Success in this role requires sound judgment, strong organization, and follow-through. This person must be able to navigate ambiguity, bring structure to complex situations, and take ownership of work from planning through execution. They should be comfortable collaborating with leadership to develop communications, bringing thoughtful recommendations, well-developed plans, and clear points of view while incorporating feedback throughout the process.
Working closely with the VP of Brand & Communications and other leadership, the Senior Communications Manager will help ensure the company's most important communications are clear, thoughtful, and consistently executed.
Note: This is a full-time position, and we are looking for a local candidate to work in the office at our Morrisville, NC headquarters, currently hybrid work-from-home three days per week, but subject to the Company’s needs and policies in the future.
