Senior Compliance Officer
You will make sure Plutus complies with all relevant Lithuanian regulations and laws, keeping up to date with changes in the regulatory environment. You will prepare the firm for MiCA legislation compliance, develop and implement compliance policies and procedures, and monitor and report on compliance obligations. You will identify and address compliance risks, conduct crypto-related investigations, and handle SAR reporting to FCIS (FNTT) along with EDD investigations. You will also take on general compliance tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Plutus complies with all relevant Lithuanian regulations and laws
- Stay up-to-date with changes in the regulatory environment
- Prepare the firm to comply with MiCA legislation
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
- Monitor and report on compliance obligations
- Identify and address compliance risks
- Conduct crypto related investigations and address risks
- Handle SAR reporting to FCIS (FNTT) and conduct EDD investigations
- Perform general compliance tasks
Requirements
- Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance skills
- Analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Finance knowledge
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Experience in financial regulation and compliance
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field a plus
- Knowledge of Lithuanian regulations
- Experience in the cryptocurrency industry
- Certification in compliance or related fields
- AML experience
- Legal background is a plus
- Native of Lithuania - speaks local language
