Senior Configuration Engineer/DevOps

About the Project:
The project is a software product based on own low-code/no-code platform to manage and mitigate configuration risks across different enterprise cloud IT environments. The project deals with enterprise servers, cloud platforms, and web technologies, not limited to: Linux/Windows, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform, IIS, Oracle, Kubernetes, Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, etc.
Responsibilities:
• Review and research of different enterprise server solutions, cloud platforms and web technologies.
• Identify key configuration parameters, files, settings, users, permissions, policies, etc. needed/required to manage each technology.
• Development of configuration rules sets and defining optimal configuration values utilizing best security practices and configuration standards (CIS Benchmark, NIST CSF).
• Defining these configurations and corresponding rules and tagging/marking them in the customer low-code/no-code platform.
• Development of the corresponding technical documentation, not limited to parameters’ definitions, values’ interpretations, configuration schemas, etc.
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of DevOps, Configuration Engineer or Systems Analyst experience.
• Extended experience in administrating enterprise (e.g., Linux-based and/or MS Windows Server), cloud solutions (e.g., AWS. Azure, etc.) and DBs (Oracle).
• Strong knowledge and experience in managing configurations, parameters, configuration files, users’ and permissions management, access rights, policies, etc.
• Good knowledge of the scripting languages (Bash; knowledge of Python will be a plus).
• Good understanding of data serialization languages (XML, JSON, YAML, etc.) and extended experience of working with the corresponding files formats, experience with data structures and values, storage, transfer, and distribution configuration.
• At least Upper-Intermediate level of the English language
• Knowledge of Python will be a plus.
