ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM As Senior Consolidation Accountant, you will be responsible for the consolidation and financial reporting of the SITA Group financials. This includes coordinating of the monthly closing cycle and consolidation activities assisting in the preparation of the corporate financial reports and external statutory reporting. You will be accountable for the analysis of the financial and operational data on a continuous basis and will assist in the interpretation of the transactions and events for management decisions. The role can further assist in the management of the Project Accounting module in Oracle in order to facilitate the closing process. Reporting to the Senior Manager Consolidation and External Reporting, you will be a part of the Consolidation team responsible for consolidation of SITA Group financials, as well as preparation of the statutory financial statements. WHAT YOU WILL DO Consolidation Collect and analyze information required in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements of SITA Group including drafting disclosures in accordance with Corporate Financial Statement and Disclosure policies. Participate actively in the closing process including the preparation of consolidated analysis for key balance sheet accounts within the timing of the corporate calendar. Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet reporting for senior management and the Board. Prepare analysis consolidated reconciliations and other supporting documentation for the external auditors as outlined in the Global Audit Plan. Coordinate the preparation of SITA group audit schedule for the external audit. Coordinate interlock meetings with the regional accounting teams business unit finance and corporate finance on the reconciliation of subsidiary ledgers, accounting treatments etc. Support management in the preparation of accounting treatment for inter-company reconciliation and settlement transfer pricing impairment etc. Project Accounting Drive accurate coding of data to allow project tracking in both P&L and Balance sheet, e.g. accruals, deferrals, Inventory/Asset tracking. Participate in the analysis of future projects and provide advice on revenue recognition, deferral of costs in line with IFRS standards. Maintain accurate amortization schedule and participate in continuous improvement of project accounting processes and tools. Qualifications ABOUT YOUR SKILLS 2 to 5 years work experience as a Consolidation Accountant in an accounting environment preferably within a medium to large international company, or within an international auditing firm. Demonstrated experience in assisting in the closing process balance sheet reconciliations and the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures. Experience in working across regions and business units. Experience in supporting external audit. Experience in preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting to Corporate Controller Chief Financial Officer and Board. Experience in accounting for complex transaction such as pensions share based payments equity reconciliation transfer pricing. Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Analytical capabilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and to deliver within required timelines. Ability to communicate with internal and external customers. Proficiency in oral and written English. Demonstrate PC proficiency (MS Excel Word Power Point). Working experience with Power Query or Power BI beneficial. Working knowledge of Oracle (or equivalent) financial system, knowledge of Hyperion (or equivalent) reporting system beneficial. University Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
