Senior Construction Estimator/Project Manager – Remote Denver, CO
As the newest member of our team, you'll lead the development of accurate, competitive bids for multifamily, residential, and commercial projects, from initial site walk-through to final submission. With 10+ years of estimating experience under your belt, you know how to translate plans and specs into numbers that win work, and you're just as comfortable presenting those numbers to a room of stakeholders as you are digging into the technical detail. You bring the professionalism and follow-through it takes to build lasting relationships, along with the patience for the paperwork-heavy world of government RFPs. Spend your days:
- Building complete, accurate cost estimates for multi-family, residential, and commercial projects, from quantity takeoffs through final bid packages
- Responding to RFPs and preparing bid packages, including opportunities at the city, county, and local level
- Building rapport with stakeholders - representing the company in person and virtually during bid Q&A sessions and estimate presentations
- Soliciting and evaluating subcontractor pricing to support well-rounded, competitive bids
- Reviewing plans, specifications, and scopes of work to identify project risks and cost-saving opportunities
- Partnering with project managers and leadership to develop and refine project budgets
- Using AI tools to sharpen your estimates and bid materials
- Jumping in wherever needed to help the business move forward, including business development
Show us your:
- 10+ years of progressive construction estimating experience, ideally including government RFPs
- A track record of successful bids across multi-family, residential, and commercial projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and comfortable using AI tools
- Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications, and building codes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to earn the trust of clients and teammates
- A confident, persuasive presence – comfortable walking stakeholders through the numbers
- Ability to work independently while meeting key deliverables across multiple bids and deadlines
- Patience and flexibility for the detail-heavy, paperwork-intensive nature of government bidding
