Senior Construction Manager [SL]

Provide strategic leadership and oversight of project execution from planning through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and SEQDC targets.

Direct project management teams and oversee the performance of project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Establish project delivery strategies, construction approaches, resource plans, and programme management frameworks.

Review overall project performance and ensure key milestones, contractual commitments, and delivery targets are achieved.

Champion workplace safety, environmental sustainability, and quality excellence across all project activities.

Oversee project budgets, financial forecasts, procurement strategies, contractual matters, variation claims, and commercial risk management.

Establish effective risk management processes and ensure timely resolution of major project issues.

Maintain senior-level relationships with clients, consultants, government authorities, utility agencies, and other key stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with statutory approvals, regulatory obligations, permits, and inspection requirements.

Review project performance reports and provide strategic updates to senior management.

Oversee project commissioning, handover, defect management, and final closeout.

Contribute to business development, tender strategy, commercial reviews, and pre-construction planning.
