Senior Consultant

🎯 Strategic Context & Role Summary

We are seeking an analytical and commercial Senior Consultant to join our team, focusing on global vendor acquisition, risk evaluation, and contract negotiations. In this role, you will act as a primary interface for sourcing, vetting, and onboarding external service providers—specifically across the corporate training and education sector—while ensuring full adherence to internal compliance, privacy, and risk governance protocols.

This position balances commercial acumen with rigorous risk assessment. You will identify key service partners across international markets, evaluate vendor risk profiles, negotiate pricing structures, and manage the end-to-end supplier onboarding process.

đź“‹ Key Responsibilities

  • Third-Party Risk & Compliance Oversight: Execute thorough risk assessments for prospective global vendors, managing due diligence workflows including Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) evaluations, adverse media screening, and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA).

  • Vendor Sourcing & Market Research: Conduct comprehensive global market research to discover, evaluate, and establish contact with qualified external service and training providers.

  • Commercial Negotiations: Lead price negotiations and rate card structuring with external suppliers to secure cost-effective commercial terms.

  • Onboarding & Process Governance: Guide third parties through internal compliance portals and approval frameworks (utilizing internal onboarding tools such as BRIDGE and risk registers), maintaining precise audit trails.

  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Leverage advanced MS Excel models to evaluate supplier pricing, analyze market rate benchmarks, and build structured risk and spend reports for senior stakeholders.

  • Stakeholder & Provider Engagement: Maintain clear, proactive communication with external vendors and internal business leaders to streamline onboarding timelines and resolve operational bottlenecks.

⚙️ Candidate Profile & Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Professional Background: Proven track record in Procurement, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Vendor Management, or Corporate Compliance.

  • Risk & Governance Expertise: Direct familiarity with formal corporate onboarding frameworks, including ABC checks, reputational media screening, and privacy/data protection evaluations (PIA). Prior exposure to internal EY risk tools (e.g., BRIDGE) is a distinct advantage.

  • Negotiation & Commercial Skills: Hands-on experience negotiating contract terms, service rates, and pricing models with external vendors.

  • Advanced Analytics: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, financial modeling, reporting) alongside strong research capabilities.

  • Communication & Diligence: Exceptional attention to detail with the confidence to manage external partner relationships independently.

Highly Desirable (Nice-to-Have):

  • Familiarity with the corporate Learning & Development (L&D) ecosystem and experience identifying professional training providers across international markets.
