Senior Consultant- Master Data Governance

Position Overview

This role combines pre-sales support responsibilities with hands-on expertise in the design, testing, and support of the client's solution, with a focus on master data governance (MDG). The Senior Consultant will be client-facing, technically proficient, and able to contribute to both solution delivery and the expansion of our presence in the global market.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development (EMEA)

- Lead projects in the EMEA market unit for implementation

- Build and maintain strong relationships with SAP customers, partners, and prospects.

- Support pre-sales activities, including demos, proof of concepts, and solution presentations.

Solution Design & Testing

- Lead the design, configuration, and testing of the SimpleMDG solution for enterprise clients.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Ensure solutions adhere to best practices in master data governance.

Issue Resolution & Support

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the design, implementation, and performance of the SimpleMDG solution.
- Provide timely support and guidance to clients post-implementation.
- Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.

Documentation & Delivery Process

- Develop and maintain high-quality documentation of solution designs, configurations, testing, and support processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery methodologies and governance frameworks.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior consultants as required.

Qualifications & Experience

- Proven experience in an SAP functional area, SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) or related master data management solutions.

- Hands-on experience with MDG tool preferred (training will be provided if not).
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, workflows, and integration within SAP landscapes.

- Experience in client-facing roles with a balance of business development and delivery responsibilities.

- At least 5 years experience in SAP implementation projects with exposure to SAP S/4HANA essential

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
