Senior Consultant - Project Controls
Summary
Senior Consultant in Project Controls oversees budgeting, forecasting, and risk management for large infrastructure projects, using tools like Primavera P6 and Power BI.

Work with multidisciplinary teams of Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Contract Administrators, Sub-Consultants, and other staff as required.
Perform project management and controls tasks like budgeting, cost management, Forecasting, Earned Value Management, contract administration, invoicing, Change management and risk management tasks.
Implement and execute methods for effective progress measurement based on the size and complexity of a project develop and implement earned value systems that accurately measure project progress and performance.
Ensure that the Project Execution Plans, Financial Forecasting, Resource Plans and Schedules are prepared, managed and updated as necessary.
Present operational information to senior management in a clear, concise, and confident manner, with the goal of aligning them to WSP’s growth strategy.
Expertise in creating data visualizations such as charts, graphs, and tables. Ability to clean, transform, validate, and model data to derive meaningful insights for decision-making using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, Power BI
Capability to develop in-house applications for automating the tasks related to Project Management and project operations and reporting.
Key Competencies / Skills / Qualifications
A master’s degree in engineering, or Project Management / Construction Management is preferred.
8 -11 years of relevant experience in Project Controls.
PMP Certification.
Project Controls experience from AEC industry on Major and Complex multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
Strong skills Primavera 6 (P6), Microsoft Project.
Good to have skills - Power Bi, Power Bi DAX, SQL, ERP System, Power Query, Advance Excel. Active Risk Manager
Good to have skills - Python, Power Apps, Excel VBA, Power Bi DAX, JIRA, Smartsheets, with hands-on experience in data analysis and digital solutions
Ability to work on several projects or tasks concurrently, manage time, organize, and set priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills, as the role requires continuous interaction with team members.
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, including report writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills are a must.
