SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Consultant in Stroke Medicine to join a leading health care facility. In this senior role, you will provide expert clinical leadership in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of stroke patients. You will play a pivotal role in advancing stroke care, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to research and service development initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the comprehensive care and management of patients with stroke and cerebrovascular diseases.
• Provide expert clinical consultations and second opinions for complex cases.
• Develop and implement best-practice clinical protocols and pathways for stroke management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurologists, radiologists, rehabilitation specialists, and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Engage in clinical research, audits, and quality improvement projects related to stroke medicine.
• Mentor, train, and support junior medical staff and healthcare professionals.
• Lead educational sessions and contribute to continuous professional development programs.
• Participate in strategic planning and service development to enhance stroke care delivery.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Extensive experience and board certification in Stroke Medicine or a related specialty.
• Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting, preferably in stroke care.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stroke cases and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong research background with publications in stroke medicine preferred.
• Excellent communication, teaching, and mentoring skills.
• Commitment to advancing clinical standards and patient-centered care.
