Handle a broad range of corporate legal matters at the intersection of traditional corporate law, digital assets, and fintech, including contracts, governance, fundraising, M&A, regulatory compliance, and internal legal support.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, negotiate, and manage complex commercial agreements.
  • Lead legal review for crypto- and payment-related contracts, including liquidity provider agreements, custody arrangements, and payment processing terms.
  • Oversee corporate governance for US and global entities and manage board secretarial duties.
  • Monitor evolving regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Provide legal support for fundraising rounds and execute M&A transactions.
  • Manage outside counsel relationships.
  • Advise Product, Finance, HR, and Operations stakeholders on legal issues.
  • Identify legal risks and implement scalable mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and refine internal legal templates and playbooks.
  • Support MTL applications.

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited US law school and active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-growth in-house environment.
  • Proven track record in fintech, payments, or crypto/web3 is highly preferred.
  • Ability to explain legal concepts to non-lawyers with clarity, wit, and brevity.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced global regulatory environment.
