Senior Cost Control - Manufacturing
The Senior Cost Control – Manufacturing role focuses on controlling, analyzing, and optimizing all production-related costs to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support profitability across manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- Monitor and control manufacturing costs including raw materials, labor, utilities, overhead, and production losses.
- Develop and maintain standard costing systems aligned with manufacturing processes and BOM structures.
- Perform detailed cost variance analysis (material, labor, overhead) and report deviations to management.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and procurement teams to identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasts for manufacturing operations.
- Analyze production efficiency, yield, scrap, and waste, providing recommendations for cost reduction.
- Participate in new product costing, pricing support, and feasibility studies.
- Ensure accurate cost allocation across production lines, departments, and products.
- Prepare detailed cost control reports and dashboards for senior management.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with internal cost control policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in cost control or cost accounting within manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, standard costing, and cost analysis techniques.
- Advanced Excel and ERP system experience is mandatory.
- High analytical capability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
