Senior Custom Closet Designer

Qualified Appointments. Strong Support. Real Earning Potential.

You know the difference between drawing a closet and designing a solution a client is excited to buy.

You can walk into a home, quickly understand what isn’t working, and turn an underused space into something beautiful, useful, and personal.

You can ask the right questions.

You can guide a client through choices without overwhelming them.

You can talk about design, budget, materials, and investment with confidence.

And you know a great design has to do more than look good on a screen. It has to be accurate, buildable, profitable, and ready for a smooth installation.

If that sounds like you, this may be the kind of opportunity you’ve been looking for.

Why This Role Is Different

We’re looking for an experienced custom closet designer who wants more than another sales job.

You want a steady flow of qualified opportunities.

You want the freedom to use your judgment.

You want to be paid well for the value you create.

And you want to work with a team that takes the client experience as seriously as you do.

In this role, you’ll meet with homeowners, understand how they live, create custom storage solutions, and guide each client from the first conversation through the final design decision.

You’ll design closets, pantries, home offices, garages, built-ins, and other custom spaces.

You’ll also work closely with production and installation so what gets sold can be built and installed the right way.

What You’ll Own

You’ll be responsible for the full design and sales process, including:

  • Conducting in-home and virtual consultations

  • Asking thoughtful questions about the client’s space, lifestyle, goals, and budget

  • Creating custom 2D and 3D designs

  • Presenting recommendations, materials, finishes, and pricing

  • Helping clients make confident buying decisions

  • Taking accurate measurements and identifying site conditions

  • Managing follow-up and your sales pipeline

  • Keeping project details current in the CRM

  • Working with production and installation to prevent avoidable problems

  • Protecting the client relationship from consultation through installation

The Opportunity Build More Income Through Your Own Relationships

Your main focus will be closing leads and building your own pipeline.

We also reward designers who create new business through interior designers, realtors, builders, past clients, referral partners, and community relationships.

Self-generated business is required.

You’ll receive marketing support, the ability to participate in events, introductions to trade partners, sales materials, and design support.

Compensation

A designer who successfully completes the ramp-up period and meets performance expectations can reasonably expect to earn $100K+ annually with no cap on earnings.

Consistent high performers can earn $200K plus.

You’ll Thrive Here If

  • You’re good at building trust quickly.
  • You listen before you design.
  • You can take a client’s ideas and turn them into a practical solution.
  • You’re comfortable talking about money and asking for the sale.
  • You follow up because you understand that good clients often need help making a decision.
  • You’re accurate because you know small mistakes can create big problems later.
  • You manage your pipeline instead of waiting for someone else to remind you.
  • You want independence, but you also value standards and accountability.
  • You care about the quality of the final installation, not just the signed contract.
  • You don’t need to be managed every hour, but you do want a team that responds when you need support.

What We’re Looking For

  • You have 5 years of experience in custom closets, cabinetry, kitchen and bath design, millwork, built-ins, or another related in-home design and sales role.
  • You have a proven record of selling custom solutions in a consultative environment.
  • You’re skilled in closet design software.
  • You can take precise measurements and identify obstacles such as outlets, vents, access panels, trim, and uneven walls.
  • You can manage several active projects without losing track of details.
  • You communicate clearly with clients, coworkers, production, and installers.
  • You have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

Training and Support

We respect the experience you bring. You’ll also receive paid onboarding in our:

  • Design software

  • Product line

  • Pricing standards

  • Measurement process

  • Sales process

  • Production requirements

  • Installation standards

  • CRM and follow-up systems

The best designers here do more than sell. They create trust. They protect profit. They communicate well. And they make the next person’s job easier.

We offer:

  • Health insurance
