Senior Customer Architect

As a Customer Architect, you'll play a critical role in helping customers realize the full value of the Restaurant365 platform. You'll design scalable solutions spanning product configuration, integrations, business processes, and operational workflows, while identifying opportunities to solve meaningful business problems with AI. You'll personally architect and build AI-powered applications, agents, automations, and workflows for both customers and internal Restaurant365 teams.
This is a highly strategic, cross-functional role for someone who enjoys solving difficult problems and building repeatable solutions that improve customer outcomes. You'll be expected to move from problem discovery and solution design to hands-on building and deployment, using modern AI development tools to turn ideas into working solutions. You'll work closely with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Support to remove technical and operational barriers while helping shape the future of Enterprise Customer Success at Restaurant365.
How you'll add value:

Partner with Strategic Customer Success Managers to support Restaurant365's largest enterprise customers and serve as the technical advisor for complex customer environments.

Diagnose technical, operational, and workflow challenges across customer environments, integrations, and business processes, and design scalable solutions that improve business outcomes.

Proactively identify opportunities across customer and internal workflows where AI, automation, or custom applications can eliminate manual work, improve customer outcomes, or solve complex operational challenges.

Personally architect and build AI-powered solutions, including agents, custom applications, automations, integrations, and intelligent workflows, using modern AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and similar technologies.

Take solutions from concept and prototype through deployment, with appropriate consideration for application architecture, APIs, data flows, security, permissions, data handling, reliability, and maintainability.

Drive cross-functional alignment across customer and internal stakeholders to define technical strategy, resolve complex challenges, and move solutions forward.

Develop reusable playbooks, solution patterns, and AI capabilities that can scale across customers and internal teams.

Reduce reactive firefighting by identifying and solving systemic issues that impact multiple customers.

Define evaluation criteria for AI features, implement monitoring and safety guardrails, and measure performance against business outcomes.
What you'll need to be successful in this role:

5+ years of experience in Enterprise SaaS, TAM, Solutions Architecture, or similar customer-facing technical role.

Demonstrated experience partnering with enterprise customers on complex software deployments, integrations, or business transformation initiatives.

Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, APIs, integrations, enterprise software ecosystems, and data flows, with the ability to diagnose complex technical and operational challenges and develop scalable solutions.

Demonstrated experience designing and building AI-powered applications, agents, automations, or workflows, with the ability to translate ambiguous business problems into working solutions.

Hands-on experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar platforms to build applications and solutions.

Strong working knowledge of APIs, integrations, LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG, MCP, data flows, and modern application architecture, with enough technical depth to independently build and troubleshoot solutions.

Understanding of how to deploy AI-powered applications responsibly, including security, authentication and permissions, customer data handling, reliability, and ongoing maintainability.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to executive and technical audiences and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Strong analytical thinking, systems thinking, and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A builder mindset with the curiosity to uncover problems, propose solutions, rapidly prototype ideas, and personally turn those ideas into working capabilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience supporting enterprise customers in ERP, financial software, payroll, workforce management, restaurant technology, or other operational SaaS platforms.

Experience working with multi-location or franchise businesses.

Familiarity with enterprise integrations, APIs, middleware, and data architecture.

Experience building reusable frameworks, playbooks, or operating models that improve scalability.

Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities and product readiness.

Consulting experience with firms such as Deloitte, Accenture, Slalom, PwC, or EY, or equivalent enterprise transformation experience.

Experience deploying AI-powered applications or automations into real-world business environments and driving adoption with end users.

- This position has a salary range of $116K - $174K. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
