Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to deliver and operate enterprise security solutions alongside our Information Security Manager and IT teams. You will own technical improvements from implementation to ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, tune and maintain security solutions across NDR, PAM, SIEM, ZTNA, IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR and DLP, according to team priorities.

• Engineer identity and privileged-access security controls, integrations and automation; strengthen Entra ID / Active Directory, MFA and Conditional Access.

• Improve security across servers, endpoints, networks and hybrid infrastructure through hardening, monitoring and practical controls.

• Investigate security incidents with IT teams; improve detection rules, security monitoring and response procedures.

• Assess emerging threats and vulnerabilities, recommend countermeasures and coordinate remediation with system owners.

• Work closely with cross-functional IT and business teams to embed security into projects and day-to-day operations, contribute to security design reviews and communicate risks clearly.

• Participate in technical security assessments of new systems, projects and third-party solutions; help identify risks and plan remediation.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of relevant cybersecurity / IT security experience, with proven hands-on engineering and delivery.

• Strong Microsoft security and identity knowledge: Active Directory / Entra ID, Microsoft 365, MFA, Conditional Access and endpoint management (MDM/MAM).

• Working knowledge of email security, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC and anti-phishing controls.

• Solid network security knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, WAF and network segmentation.

• Practical experience with several enterprise security technologies listed above, plus solid knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure: Windows/Linux servers, virtualization and hybrid environments.

• Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and professional proficiency in Lithuanian and English.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on Microsoft Azure security / hybrid-cloud experience; familiarity with WAF operations, OWASP Top 10 or security automation.

• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes environments and container security controls.

• GRC / Security Assessment: experience documenting security risks, assessment findings and remediation actions; familiarity with ISO 27001 or NIS2.

• Relevant Microsoft Security / Administrator, CISSP, CISM or CompTIA Security+ certifications.

Salary

€4,000 – €7,500 gross (before taxes). Final compensation will be determined individually based on the candidate's experience.
