Be Part Of A Dynamic Team

Join a global manufacturing organization in the middle of a major Microsoft Dynamics 365 transformation spanning multiple business units and locations. The organization has already begun deploying D365 across its operations and is now moving through a large U.S. rollout involving seven locations, followed by additional international and acquisition-driven deployments.

This team brings extensive knowledge of the business and its legacy processes but is intentionally evolving toward a more modern, standardized ERP environment. The next phase requires an experienced D365 functional leader who can bring deep platform knowledge, introduce better ways of working, and help the organization take greater ownership of its ERP environment over time.

What's In Store For You

  • Join an enterprise-scale D365 implementation during a critical transition from build into validation, UAT, cutover, and hypercare.
  • Take ownership of the Sales and Customer Service functional workstream.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders, an external implementation partner, technical resources, and internal ERP leadership.
  • Help shape how the organization uses D365 long term rather than simply maintaining legacy processes.
  • Participate in future ERP deployments supporting international operations and newly acquired businesses.
  • Primary locations are Clemmons/Mocksville, NC or Phoenix, AZ, with meaningful onsite interaction expected.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Lead the Sales and Customer Service functional workstream within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
  • Serve as the functional bridge between business teams, internal technology resources, and the system integrator.
  • Take hands-on ownership of D365 configuration supporting Sales, Customer Service, pricing, quoting, and related processes.
  • Help the organization move away from heavily customized legacy ERP processes by identifying better ways to use standard D365 capabilities.
  • Provide functional leadership around Unified Pricing Management, layered discount structures, customer pricing, and seasonal purchasing programs.
  • Participate in conference room pilots, solution validation, remediation, user acceptance testing, process refinement, cutover, and post-go-live hypercare.
  • Guide business users through new D365 processes and help improve adoption through training and hands-on support.
  • Support integrations with surrounding platforms such as Salesforce, Magento/eCommerce, and other enterprise applications.
  • Monitor Microsoft's D365 roadmap and recommend functionality that can improve processes while minimizing unnecessary customization.
  • Build internal D365 capability so the organization can increasingly handle configuration, sustainment, and future deployments without depending heavily on outside consultants.
  • Support future expansion initiatives, including additional international deployments and ERP onboarding for acquired businesses.

Do You Bring Proven Success Leading D365 Sales & Customer Service Workstreams?

  • 7–10+ years of ERP functional, Business Analyst, or Functional Consultant experience with significant hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 FSCM / Finance & Operations expertise.
  • Deep recent experience within D365 Sales and Customer Service processes.
  • Strong understanding of Sales & Marketing functionality, customer management, quoting, order processing, and Quote-to-Cash.
  • Demonstrated experience with complex pricing and Unified Pricing Management, including layered discounts or comparable pricing structures.
  • Ability to personally configure D365 functionality rather than operating solely as a requirements or project-management resource.
  • Strong knowledge of fit-gap analysis and a demonstrated preference for using standard D365 functionality before pursuing customization.
  • Experience supporting enterprise D365 implementations through testing, UAT, deployment, cutover, and hypercare.
  • Ability to challenge legacy business processes constructively and propose better platform-based solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to influence business stakeholders when recommended solutions differ from historical processes.
  • Experience working with integrations to systems such as Salesforce, eCommerce platforms, EDI solutions, or similar enterprise applications.
  • Previous consulting experience is welcome, particularly when paired with experience supporting or owning systems after implementation.
  • Experience with Power Platform is preferred.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are preferred.
  • Manufacturing industry experience is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to work regularly onsite in North Carolina or Phoenix and travel periodically for deployment activities.
