Senior Data & AI Engineer (AWS)

Lead the design, development and continuous enhancement of the organisation's Enterprise Data & AI Platform. This role is responsible for enterprise data management, analytics, AI solutions and digital innovation, while building internal capabilities and reducing reliance on external vendors.

Key responsibilities

Build and manage a scalable, secure AWS-based data platform.

Develop and maintain data pipelines, integrations and governance standards.

Ensure trusted, accessible data for analytics, reporting and AI initiatives.

Develop APIs, integrations and reusable technology components.

Build internal web applications and workflow automation solutions.

Deliver enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions using Amazon QuickSight.

Enable self-service analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Develop AI-powered solutions to improve productivity and automate processes.

Integrate AI capabilities into business applications.

Establish internal ownership of data and AI platforms.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science or related field.

Minimum 5 years' experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Application Development, Data Warehousing or System Integration.

AWS, Microsoft, AI or Data Engineering certifications are advantageous.
