Location: Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia. Mode: Remote We at Coforge are hiring Senior Data & AI Engineer (#22552) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications and backend services using Python, TypeScript, and AWS, including agentic and LLM-powered solutions.
• Build scalable end-to-end data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Databricks, DBT, Apache Spark, and related technologies.
• Design and implement scalable data architectures, modeling, governance, data quality, monitoring, and observability across AI and data platforms.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Data, and Business teams to deliver production-ready solutions while driving technical decisions, engineering practices, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience delivering production-grade systems.
• Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
• Experience building cloud-native applications, preferably on AWS.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and modern data engineering practices.
• Experience designing APIs, backend services, workflows, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience developing AI or LLM-powered products in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, governance, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience with DBT transformation pipelines, testing, and data validation.
• Knowledge of scalable data architectures such as Medallion Architecture, Data Vault 2.0, and dimensional modeling.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, Strands, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Background in conversational AI, agent-based systems, and AI platform development.
• Experience with Fivetran, Delta Lake, and modern analytics ecosystems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices for Data and AI Engineering.
• Experience implementing monitoring, observability, and governance solutions for AI and data platforms.
• Familiarity with internal developer platforms, low-code solutions, or productivity tooling.
