Senior Data & AI Engineer

For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced Senior Data & AI Engineer for a long contract based in Basel, Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.
• Build and optimize data models, ETL/ELT processes, and analytics workflows.
• Support AI/ML and advanced analytics initiatives.
• Contribute to GCP-to-Azure migration activities and Azure data platform implementation.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.

German Fluent Required

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or AI.
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, Data Modeling, and ETL/ELT.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and Data Lake.
• Experience with GCP and Azure migration projects.
• Knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Familiarity with AI/ML solutions.
