Senior Data AI Platform Engineer
Summary
Senior engineer at lululemon's internal enterprise tech team in Vancouver (onsite 4+ days/week) building AI-enabled data platforms: LLM context and retrieval systems (RAG, semantic search, knowledge graphs) plus distributed APIs and services that support multiple internal product teams.
Design data systems and AI-enabled platforms at lululemon, working onsite at least four days weekly across data, retrieval, and distributed systems.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build enterprise solutions supporting multiple product teams. Your work spans semantic models, LLM retrieval, APIs, and distributed systems. You will shape architecture patterns and technical decisions across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build systems providing high-quality context for LLMs
- Evolve semantic models, taxonomies, ontologies, and knowledge graphs
- Lead complex implementations spanning multiple services
- Establish coding, testing, and deployment standards
- Mentor engineers and lead critical incident response
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience
- Six to ten years of software development experience
- Experience with RAG, GraphRAG, semantic search, or hybrid retrieval
- Knowledge of enterprise semantic layers and knowledge representation
- Authorization to work in Canada
