Senior Data & AI Solutions Architect

Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
• Experience within specific technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients
• Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking
• Experience working with end user or developer communities

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with customers to accelerate their projects and recommend best-practice architectures aligned to their long-term business outcomes across infrastructure, application modernisation, data, and AI/ML
• Own the technical relationship with the customer and act as their trusted advisor
• Design solutions across the breadth of AWS services, with depth in data and AI workloads when customer needs demand it
• Share customer feedback to influence the roadmap of new features and services for the AWS platform
• Create and capture best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures such as white papers, code samples, and blog posts, with a focus on data and AI patterns relevant to energy and industrial sectors
• Evangelise and educate about AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, or conferences
• Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organisation by interviewing candidates and taking part in hiring decisions
• Mentor team members and help others develop new skills
• Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to your interests and customer outcomes, with Data and AI as priority areas
