Senior Data Analyst -Australian Operations- KPO- Noida

Position Summary:-We are seeking a highly analytical and solution-oriented Senior Data Analyst to support business decision-making, data transformation initiatives, and enterprise-wide reporting. This role combines data analytics, dashboard development, business intelligence, stakeholder engagement, and data migration activities to deliver meaningful insights and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in understanding business data, developing scalable reporting solutions, supporting system transformation projects, and enabling leaders to make data-driven decisions. While regular reporting is part of the role, the primary focus is on analytical problem-solving, dashboard development, process improvement, and data migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Business Insights

• Analyze large and complex datasets to generate actionable business insights.
• Identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis, forecasting, scenario modeling, and business performance reporting.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple systems and data sources.
• Investigate data quality issues, identify root causes, and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and enhance key business metrics and performance indicators.

Dashboard Development & Business Intelligence

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Excel, Power Query, and related BI tools.
• Build automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Develop and maintain data connections from SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and other enterprise systems.
• Translate business requirements into intuitive and meaningful visualizations.

Data Migration & System Transformation

• Support enterprise system implementation and transformation projects through end-to-end data migration activities.
• Define data migration strategies and frameworks.
• Extract, cleanse, transform, validate, and load data into target systems.
• Conduct data testing, reconciliation, and validation activities to ensure migration accuracy.
• Troubleshoot migration issues and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data-related challenges.

Management Reporting

• Prepare and maintain periodic management reports and performance dashboards.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and business planning activities.
• Interpret data and provide recommendations to improve operational and business performance.
• Monitor reporting frameworks and recommend enhancements to improve data visibility and decision-making.

Stakeholder Engagement & Improvement Initiatives

• Collaborate with business leaders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
• Gather and document business requirements for data and technology-related projects.
• Lead and support process improvement initiatives focused on data, systems, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Drive the development of scalable tools, frameworks, and analytical solutions.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies, analytics trends, and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Data Management.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience working with large datasets and solving complex business problems through data analysis.
• Experience translating business requirements into analytical solutions and reporting frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.

Preferred

• Experience supporting large-scale system implementation or data migration projects.
• Exposure to business transformation, technology implementation, or consulting environments.
• Experience working with enterprise data platforms and modern data ecosystems.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong experience with SQL.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Power Query.
• Experience in data modeling, reporting automation, and dashboard development.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Requirements gathering and business analysis experience.

Preferred

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Exposure to APIs and data integrations.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of database design and data governance principles.
