Senior Data Analyst, Core Analytics (d/f/m) - Fixed-term contract
You bring a pragmatic mindset — knowing when 100% rigour is needed and when a well-scoped 20% answer unlocks the next decision. You actively use AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate the repeatable, and spend your energy where human judgement matters most.
This is a limited 1-year contract position.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do- Be the analytics partner for the Core Experience product and business team — own KPI frameworks, funnel analysis, and performance reporting.
- Collaborate closely with Analysts, Data Engineers, and Product Managers in a cross-functional DnA environment.
- Generate insights on user engagement, retention, and personalisation to inform product strategy and roadmap prioritisation.
- Identify high-impact opportunities through behavioural analysis, cohort analysis, and segmentation.
- Contribute to forecasting, planning, and operational analytics initiatives to support business growth and prioritization.
- Enable self-service analytics by improving data documentation, semantic models, and reusable analytical assets.
- Support A/B testing initiatives through experiment setup, analysis, and measurement of feature performance and business impact.
- Actively use AI and automation tools (LLMs, code assistants) to accelerate analysis, improve analytical workflows, and scale insight delivery.
- Evaluate AI/ML outputs (recommendations, predictions) to analytical questions — evaluate model performance and translate results for non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Who You Are- You bring 3–4 years of experience in a data or analytics role, ideally in a consumer-facing digital product environment.
- You bring strong SQL skills and hands-on experience in product and business analytics, experimentation, and KPI analysis.
- You communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and build strong cross-functional relationships.
- You demonstrate an ownership mindset, strong prioritization skills, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
- You have experience with Databricks, SQL-based analytics environments, and data visualization, and understand tracking concepts and data quality validation
- You actively leverage AI tools (e.g., code assistants and LLMs) to improve productivity and embrace automation where it creates value.
- Nice to have: exposure to forecasting, Python, and modern analytics tooling such as DBT.
