Salary: RM 8,000 - RM 15,000per month

Role Summary
Transform raw data into structured models and actionable dashboards to drive business decisions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Data Transformation & Modeling: Clean, standardize, and transform raw data into reliable models (fact/dimension tables) as a single source of truth.
• Dashboard & Reporting: Design and build intuitive, performant dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Metabase) to translate business needs into visual insights.
• Data Quality & Governance: Identify inconsistencies, collaborate with Data Engineers to resolve upstream issues, and implement data validation checks.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product, operations, and management teams to translate ambiguous business questions into structured data solutions.
• Data Strategy & Ownership: Define key metric definitions, drive best practices for data reliability, and shape how data is structured and consumed company-wide.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–6+ years of proven experience in data analysis, BI, or analytics engineering roles working with large-scale datasets.
• Technical Skills: Advanced SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions, optimization), strong data modeling (star schema), and BI dashboarding.
• Preferred Skills: Experience with dbt (or similar transformation frameworks), ClickHouse, basic Python for data processing, and fast-paced startup environments.
• Candidate Profile: Strong ownership mindset, highly independent, and capable of turning messy, evolving data into a structured and reliable analytics layer.
