Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the collection, cleaning, and analysis of data from various sources to support strategic business decisions.
- Develop and oversee databases, data systems, and data collection processes.
- Interpret data, analyse results using advanced statistical techniques, and provide comprehensive reports.
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Collaborate with senior management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Define new process improvement opportunities and lead their implementation.
- Mentor and guide junior data analysts and other team members.
- Work closely with IT and business teams to implement data-driven solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
- Extensive experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights.
- Proficiency in advanced data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, R, (Python – AI/ML libraries), Git and Github, Google Colab, AutoML platforms)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Jupyter notebook) is highly desirable.
