Summary
Honeybee Tech Solutions is hiring a Senior Data Analyst in Pune (office-based, US shift) to analyze large datasets, write SQL, and build Power BI dashboards and automated MIS/KPI reports for a business serving the US mortgage/collections domain. Core stack: Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI (DAX); Python/R and automation tools preferred.
We are hiring an experienced Analyst / Senior Data Analyst Business Analysis with 4 to 5 years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, expertise in Advanced Excel, SQL, and Power BI, and experience working with large datasets to generate business insights. Candidates with experience in the US Mortgage or Collections domain will be preferred.

- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
- Develop, maintain, and automate MIS reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI.
- Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Evaluate business processes and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reporting consistency.
- Present analytical findings through reports, dashboards, and stakeholder presentations.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in Data Analysis or Business Analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Charts, Macros, Automation).
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI including data modelling, DAX, dashboard creation, and visualization.
- Good understanding of BI architecture and reporting best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convert business requirements into actionable insights.
- Experience in the US Mortgage or Collections domain.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analytics.
- Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate or VBA.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Computer Science.
