Senior Data Analyst (Power BI + DAX + SQL)

What is your mission?

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to design and maintain Power BI dashboards, manage SQL-based reporting infrastructure, automate data workflows, and deliver actionable business insights. This role serves as a key analytical partner across business functions, supporting decision-making through data modeling, trend analysis, reporting automation, and deep-dive investigations into operational and commercial performance.

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

• Design, publish, and maintain dynamic and user-friendly Power BI dashboards for business stakeholders to monitor performance and support decision-making.

• Maintain and enhance the central SQL data warehouse, ensuring reliable data structures, reporting accuracy, and scalability.

• Eliminate manual spreadsheet-driven processes by automating recurring data ingestion, transformation, and reporting workflows.

• Connect, extract, and manage data from REST APIs, JSON, CSV, and other business data sources to support analytics requirements.

• Perform in-depth analytical investigations into customer purchasing behavior, margin variances, supplier performance, lead-time reliability, inventory constraints, and other business drivers to identify root causes and opportunities.

• Develop and maintain clean relational and dimensional data models that support reporting, analytics, and self-service business intelligence.

• Create and optimize DAX measures, calculations, and data relationships within Power BI reporting environments.

• Support the development of lightweight Python scripts and automation solutions that improve data accessibility and operational efficiency.

• Leverage generative AI tools to accelerate analytics development, data pipeline prototyping, troubleshooting, script creation, and problem-solving activities.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate business questions into actionable analytical solutions.

• Apply quantitative analysis, trend evaluation, moving averages, and statistical thinking to support business decisions and performance management.

Who are we looking for?

• College undergraduate or college graduate.

• 3–6+ years of experience in a data-focused role such as Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, BI Developer, or Full-Stack Data Specialist.

• Experience within manufacturing, CPG, supply chain, or e-commerce environments is an advantage.

• Strong SQL development skills, including CTEs, joins, aggregations, and window functions.

• Proven experience designing relational or dimensional data models.

• Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI.

• Strong proficiency with DAX, including data modeling, table relationships, and measure creation.

• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and CSV data sources.

• Experience developing lightweight Python scripts and automation solutions.

• Familiarity with NetSuite is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of data warehousing, reporting automation, and business intelligence practices.

• Comfortable applying quantitative analysis, trend evaluation, moving averages, and basic statistical concepts to solve business problems.

• Active user of generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot to accelerate development, troubleshooting, and analytical work.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex business and operational challenges.

• Ability to work independently as a highly autonomous and resourceful data professional in a fast-paced growth environment.
