Senior Data Analyst (Python / SQL / dbt)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to work on data-driven trend detection and social signal analysis. The role combines advanced analytics, data discovery, prototyping, and hands-on work with data pipelines, with a high level of autonomy and technical ownership.

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or in a comparable data-focused role.
• Strong commercial experience with Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with dbt.
• Experience working with Snowflake.
• Experience working with large datasets, data preparation, and data quality.
• Ability to independently solve complex and ambiguous technical problems.
• Experience translating business or product requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to build prototypes and validate new analytical approaches quickly.
• Experience with Git/GitHub.
• High level of autonomy, ownership, and accountability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Nice to have:

• Experience analysing social media, web, trend, or behavioural data.
• Experience with Airflow.
• Experience with Data Vault modelling.
• Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Experience evaluating and integrating new external data sources.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Codex, or Claude Code.
