We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a leading Federal Government Agency supporting critical data and analytics initiatives. The successful Senior Data Analyst will work within a multidisciplinary team to design, develop and maintain enterprise data products while transforming complex datasets into meaningful business insights. You will be offered an initial 12 month contract with a further 12 month extension option and receive a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Designing, building and maintaining enterprise data products and data assets
- Performing data wrangling, profiling, quality assessments and data validation activities
- Translating business requirements into coded data transformations and analytics solutions
- Developing new data attributes, prototypes and reporting capabilities
- Presenting technical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
The successful Senior Data Analyst will have:
- Extensive experience analysing complex datasets and developing high-quality analytical solutions
- Advanced programming skills across SQL, Python, SAS and/or R
- Experience working within Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments and data pipelines
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills
- Experience with Snowflake, SAS Viya and Power BI highly regarded
