Senior Data Analyst Trust and Safety

Summary

Investigate suspicious trading activity on a crypto prediction market using SQL, build fraud/AML dashboards, and improve detection logic while documenting findings for compliance teams.

You will investigate suspicious trading activity using SQL and deliver well-documented answers to trust-and-safety data requests. You will build monitoring dashboards, identify patterns across accounts, trading history, and on-chain data, and improve detection logic. You will document findings clearly and help prioritize high-risk signals while reducing alert noise.

Responsibilities

  • Write SQL queries to investigate suspicious trading activity.
  • Deliver documented responses to Trust and Safety data requests.
  • Build and maintain fraud and AML monitoring dashboards.
  • Identify bad-actor patterns across accounts, trading history, and on-chain data.
  • Translate investigation patterns into detection-logic improvements.
  • Document investigation findings for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prioritize high-risk signals and reduce alert noise.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of data-analysis experience.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience in fraud detection, AML investigation, or trust and safety analytics.
  • Ability to independently scope and complete open-ended investigations.
  • Experience building dashboards for operations or compliance teams.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Familiarity with crypto, prediction-market, on-chain, or exchange trading data.
  • Experience contributing to fraud or AML detection logic or rules engines.
  • Experience working with compliance, legal, or operations teams in a regulated environment.
