Senior Data Analytics Engineer x2

These roles offer a blend of data analytics, modelling, engineering and visualisation, with a strong focus on turning complex data into meaningful, accessible insights for the business.

You'll also contribute to the introduction of Open Data Contract Standard (ODCS) practices, supporting the development of reliable, reusable and well-governed data products.

What you'll be doing

• Building and delivering data products using Databricks.
• Developing analytical datasets, data models and transformations using SQL.
• Creating dashboards and visualisations that support business decision-making.
• Working with stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical data solutions.
• Supporting the introduction of data contracts and data quality standards.
• Improving data accessibility, reliability and usability across the organisation.
• Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to deliver end-to-end data solutions.

What we're looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and advanced SQL.
• Experience developing data products, analytical datasets and data models.
• Strong BI and data visualisation capability, ideally with Power BI or Databricks AI/BI Dashboards.
• Good understanding of Delta Lake and modern lakehouse architectures.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to deliver analytical solutions.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a developing data capability.

Nice to have:

• Experience with ODCS, data contracts or data governance frameworks.
• Python / PySpark experience.
• Exposure to Unity Catalog and data quality frameworks.
• Experience introducing new data technologies or standards.
