Senior Data Architect
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect / Senior Data Architect to lead the architecture, design, development, and maintenance of
enterprise-scale data platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong
expertise in modern data architecture, big data technologies, database
engineering, and data pipeline development, with the ability to solve complex
business problems through scalable and efficient technical solutions.
This is a hands-on architecture role requiring technical leadership
across transactional systems, analytical platforms, batch and streaming data
pipelines, and enterprise data ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design,
develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data platforms supporting
operational and analytical workloads.
- Analyze
business requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable, and
efficient data architecture solutions.
- Architect
and implement batch and real-time streaming data pipelines for
ingestion, transformation, and delivery of enterprise data.
- Define
and govern enterprise data architecture standards, design patterns, and
engineering best practices.
- Design
and optimize data models, database schemas, storage strategies, and
processing frameworks.
- Work
across transactional and analytical database platforms to ensure
performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Optimize
complex SQL/NoSQL queries, stored procedures, and database workloads.
- Drive
architecture decisions for distributed data systems, event-driven
architectures, and analytics-serving platforms.
- Support
enterprise reporting and analytics use cases across the data platform
ecosystem.
- Collaborate
with engineering, analytics, product, and business stakeholders to solve
complex data challenges.
- Ensure
platform reliability, security, governance, observability, and performance
optimization.
- Mentor
engineering teams and provide architectural guidance on implementation and
technical decision-making.
