Senior Data Centre Network Engineer (MNC)

Our client is a well-established global technology solutions provider with a presence in over 30 countries worldwide, providing hands-on technical support and delivering world-class IT services to their MNC clients. They are now looking for an experienced Data Centre Network Engineer to work alongside their talented team in a dynamic environment to scale greater heights.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define and integrate network infrastructure requirements into global data center designs, including space, power, cooling, and connectivity.
- Develop and evolve network infrastructure standards, technical guidelines, and design processes to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and construction teams to validate network infrastructure builds through site visits and construction administration.
- Provide technical guidance to design, construction, and operations teams to maintain design integrity and minimize implementation deviations.
- Support infrastructure commissioning, provisioning, and operational readiness across global data center sites.
- Drive strategic initiatives focused on infrastructure efficiency, scalability, standardization, and innovation.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.
- Leverage automation, tooling, and AI to improve design consistency, deployment quality, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- At least 5 - 7 years of experience designing and deploying data center connectivity infrastructure
- Experience working in large-scale data center
- Strong knowledge of structured cabling and fiber optic systems, including design standards and installation best practices
- Willing to work on weekends (5 days work week, off days may be on weekdays)
- Degree in any IT discipline or equivalent
- Strong communication skills with internal & external stakeholders
